One lucky group in KS3 have been enjoying weekly drumming sessions with a fabulous external drum teacher, Rome. Every Wednesday morning the group collect their Djembes and bang out some great beats to Rome’s amazing rhythms. The group have also been introduced to a wide variety of drums and instruments from across the world, including a single stringed Indian instrument made from animal tendons!
Following the morning session, Rome then stays and continues the beats with the Drumming Lunchtime Club. A firm favourite club amongst many students.
