KS4 Students Explore New Technologies
Back to article list

30th April 2019

This term KS4 pupils are completing some research and development into new technologies.

They have been using the Nintendo Switch with the Labo Kit. Each kit contains a set of pre-made cardboard cut-outs and other materials, used to make one or more “Toy-Con”, and a Nintendo Switch game card.

The cardboard cut outs interact with the controllers to create a Piano, RC car, fishing and many more. We will also be looking at 360 camera’s, Virtual Reality using an Oculus Rift for full VR immersion.

Towards the end of term we will be using Raspberry Pi’s to create and build our own single board computers.
