Last week our students took part in E-Safety based discussions and activities. The main areas we looked at were to think SMART when online;

S – Safe, keep passwords, phone numbers and any personal information safe and never share them.

M – Meet, never meet up with people you are speaking to online.

A – Accepting, never accept friend requests from people you don’t know. Never accept emails or files from people or companies that you are not expecting.

R – Reliable, always make sure information you are getting online is reliable. Check with other sites to confirm or ask someone who may know or check a book.

T – Tell, always tell a responsible adult if you feel unsafe, uncomfortable or scared when using the internet.

6th form students have created a short information video to help students remember these key areas.
