MHS Careers Week 2021

We’ve had a fun packed timetable for Careers Week 2021. We’ve had to do things a little differently this year and all our employer encounters have been held virtually but this hasn’t stopped us making the most of the opportunities. We’ve had talks from employers and employees across the different work sectors including companies such as The Manchester College, Manchester Internal Beauty Academy, City in the Community, Balfour Beatty, Noah’s ART, the Co-operative College, Royal Mail, and Bringing Word to Life. Pupils have gained insight into different careers pathways and used a variety of employability skills in the many activities they have taken part in during the week. Some classes have taken part in enterprises such as car washing, Easter egg packing and a Sixth Form café.
